⚡ What Notifications Are

Notifications are real-time alerts that keep your team informed of all key activity — from new fan messages to AI system events.
They’re essential for chatters and managers to react quickly, close more sales, and monitor how the AI and fans behaves in real time.

🧭 Where to Find Notifications

You’ll find notifications in the top-right corner of the Substy interface (bell icon 🔔).
They also appear live inside the Messages tab, so you can act instantly without leaving your workspace.

You’ll see notifications for:

  • New messages from fans.

  • New subscriptions.

  • Purchases of PPVs.

  • Tips sent by fans.

  • Substy alerts (hybrid triggers on fan)

🕒 Real-Time Updates

Every event is synchronized instantly:

  • New messages pop into the inbox.

  • Payments and tips appear directly in the conversation.

  • Subscriptions and renewals update automatically.

  • AI or hybrid mode changes trigger alerts for transparency.

💡 Example: A fan unlocks a PPV → you instantly see a 💰 notification and updated revenue in the dashboard.

⚙️ System / AI Events

Alerts about AI or hybrid mode changes (e.g., a fan reached a spending threshold and he is auto switch off).

⚙️ Hybrid Mode Notifications

If you’re using Hybrid Mode, Substy will send a system notification whenever the AI is automatically disabled for a specific fan.

This usually happens when:

  • The fan reaches the spending threshold you defined.

  • The fan has been chatting long enough to trigger the sub duration handover.

💡 These alerts help your human chatters know exactly when to take over — ensuring smooth transitions and no missed opportunities with high-value fans.

🔍 Filtering Notifications

You can filter notifications by type to focus on what matters:

  1. Click the bell icon (🔔).

  2. Choose filters such as Messages, Purchases, Tips, or System.

  3. Clear individual alerts or all at once.

💡 Tip: During rush hours, focus on Purchases and System alerts to catch high-spending fans the moment they convert or trigger AI handovers.

🧠 Best Practices

  • Keep notifications enabled at all times for your chatter team.

  • Use substy notifications to track AI → human handovers in Hybrid Mode.

  • Follow up fast on purchase or tip notifications — these are the fans most likely to buy again.
