Shifts allow you to track when employees are actively working, view scheduled coverage for each day, review historical shift data, and ensure adequate staffing across time zones. You can create and manage shifts from the Schedule page (navigate to Settings > Schedule).
The Shifts section is located in the Employee Statistics dashboard, below the main charts. You'll see two panels: Today's Shifts (current day's scheduled coverage) and Recent Shifts History (past shifts within your selected date range).
This panel shows all shifts scheduled for the current day: employee names and their scheduled times, shift duration for each team member, and coverage gaps if any time slots are unassigned. Use the < > arrows to browse different days.
Click the "Manage Shifts" button to create new employee shifts, edit existing schedules, assign employees to time slots, and set up recurring shifts.
This panel shows completed shifts within your selected date range. For each shift you'll see the employee name, date and time, duration, and performance stats. The date range picker controls which shifts appear in the history.
Correlate shift data with performance metrics: note which shifts generate the most revenue, identify high-performing employees during specific times, optimize scheduling based on historical performance, and adjust coverage based on fan activity patterns.
Plan ahead: Schedule shifts at least a week in advance.
Cover peaks: Ensure human coverage during high-activity periods.
Use AI shifts: Set up AI shifts for after-hours and weekend coverage.
Track performance: Review which shifts produce the best results.
Stay flexible: Adjust schedules based on data and team availability.
