Recurring schedules automatically create repeated shift instances based on your settings. This saves time and ensures consistent coverage without manually creating shifts each day or week.
When creating a new schedule, in Step 2 (Recurrence), toggle on Enable Recurring Schedule. This unlocks the recurrence configuration options.
The shift will repeat every single day. Use this for full-time coverage requirements, AI shifts that should run 24/7, or employees with consistent daily schedules.
The shift will repeat on the same day each week. Use this for regular weekly schedules (e.g., every Monday), part-time employee shifts, or weekend-only coverage.
The shift will repeat on the same date each month. Use this for monthly review or maintenance periods, or specific monthly coverage needs.
The Recurrence End Date field lets you specify when the recurring schedule should stop creating new instances.
Leave blank: The schedule will recur indefinitely until manually stopped.
Set a date: The schedule will stop after this date (useful for temporary employees or trial periods).
Plan ahead: Set up recurring schedules at the start of each month.
Use end dates for temps: Always set end dates for temporary or trial employees.
Review regularly: Check the Shift History tab to ensure coverage is working as expected.
Combine patterns: Create multiple recurring schedules for complex coverage needs.
