Agency notification settings are available to Admins and Team Leaders only. Regular employees can only manage their personal preferences.
Navigate to Settings > Notifications and click the Agency tab.
Toggle on the channels you want your agency to use:
In-App — Notifications inside the Substy dashboard (bell icon).
Telegram — Messages via Telegram bot.
Discord — Webhook-based messages.
Email — Email notifications for critical events.
When a channel is disabled at the agency level, no employee can receive notifications through that channel.
For each notification event, you can enable or disable it agency-wide: New Subscriber (fan subscribes for the first time), New Message (fan sends a message), Purchase (fan buys a PPV or tips), Handover (AI hands conversation to a human), Script Exhausted (all scripts have been sent to a fan), Low Balance (wallet drops below minimum — admins only).
Choose your bot type: Substy Bot (built-in, no configuration needed) or Custom Bot (your own Telegram bot with a custom token).
To connect a Telegram Group: Click Generate Connect Code (valid for 30 minutes), add the bot to your Telegram group, send the connect code in the group chat, and the group appears in your linked groups list.
Create a webhook URL in your Discord server and paste it in the Discord Webhook field.
Override agency defaults for individual creators: find the Creator Overrides section, select a creator, toggle specific events on or off, and optionally set a creator-specific Telegram bot type or Discord webhook. Creator overrides take priority over agency defaults but can be further overridden by employees in their personal settings.
Is the event enabled at the agency level? If not, no notification.
Is there a creator-specific override? Use that.
Does the employee have a personal preference? Use that.
Does the employee have a per-creator override? Final priority.
