Employee shifts allow you to assign team members to work on specific creator accounts during set time periods. This guide walks you through the complete process of creating a shift.
There are two ways to create a shift: click the + Add Schedule button in the top-right corner of the Schedule page, or click the + button on any day cell in the calendar and select "Create Employee shift".
Select Employee from the Schedule Type dropdown to create a human-staffed shift. Then select the creator account(s) this shift will cover, and select one or more employees to assign to this shift.
Toggle Enable Recurring Schedule on to automatically create repeating shift instances. Choose a recurrence pattern: Daily (repeats every day), Weekly (repeats on the same day each week), or Monthly (repeats on the same date each month). Optionally set a Recurrence End Date, or leave blank for indefinite recurrence.
Use the calendar to select the start date for the shift. Choose from preset time ranges: Custom (set your own start and end times), Full day (12:00 AM - 11:59 PM), 4am - 12pm (morning shift), 7am - 1pm (early day shift). Select the timezone for this schedule.
Once you've configured all three steps, click Create Schedule to save the shift. The shift will appear on the calendar immediately.
