Timed Messages let you schedule a message to be sent after a delay rather than instantly. You set a timer (from 1 to 60 minutes), and Substy will automatically deliver the message when the countdown ends.
This is useful when you want to space out replies, create a more natural conversation flow, or time a follow-up without having to come back to the chat later.
Timed Messages require a Pro plan or above.
1. Open a conversation from the Messages interface.
2. Type your message (and optionally attach media or set a price).
3. Click the clock icon in the chat toolbar — it will turn orange when active.
4. An orange badge appears with a number input. Set your desired delay in minutes (1–60).
5. Press Enter or click Send.
Your message will appear in the chat with a dashed orange border and a live countdown timer showing exactly when it will be delivered.
Changed your mind? While the countdown is running, you can cancel the scheduled message:
1. Hover over the timed message in the chat.
2. Click the trash icon that appears. The message will be removed and never sent to the fan.
Orange dashed border around the message bubble.
Pulsing clock icon inside the message.
Live countdown displayed below the message (e.g., "2m 34s").
Once the timer reaches zero, the status changes to "Sending..." and the message is delivered normally.
Natural pacing — Avoid responding too fast to make conversations feel more authentic.
Follow-up nudges — Send a follow-up a few minutes after your last message if the fan hasn't responded.
Timed PPV drops — Build anticipation by delaying a PPV message after teasing content.
Timed Messages are available on the Pro plan and above. On the Free plan, the clock icon will appear locked. Upgrade your plan to unlock this feature.
