The Message Manager is a centralized dashboard where you can monitor all messages sent on Substy to your fans — whether sent by the AI or by an employee. Access it from Message Manager in the sidebar navigation.
Each message row shows:
Content — The message text (truncated for readability)
Fan — The fan's display name and username
Creator — Which creator account sent the message
Sent by — Whether the message was sent by AI (purple badge) or an Employee (blue badge)
Status — Message status with a special amber "Reverted" badge for unsent messages
Price — The price attached to the message (if any)
Date — When the message was sent
Search — Search by message content in real-time
Sender Type — Filter by All, AI, or Employee
Creator — Filter messages by a specific creator account
Status — Filter by message status
Price Range — Set a minimum and/or maximum price
Date Range — Pick a from/to date range using the calendar picker
Click on any message row to open a fan detail panel showing profile information, timezone, birthday, preferences, custom attributes, and engagement stats.
Find the message in the table.
Click the Unsend button in the action column.
Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
The message list refreshes automatically every 40 seconds, so you always see the latest activity without needing to reload the page.
