When you connect your OnlyFans account to Substy using your email and password, OnlyFans may require an additional security step called two-factor authentication (2FA). Substy fully supports all OnlyFans 2FA methods, so you can complete verification directly within the platform.
2FA is triggered in two scenarios: initial account connection (when you first add your OnlyFans creator account) and reconnection (if your session expires or credentials need to be re-verified). If 2FA is required, Substy will automatically detect it and display a verification dialog.
Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password), find the OnlyFans entry and copy the 6-digit code, enter the code in the Substy verification dialog. The code auto-submits once all 6 digits are entered. Tip: codes refresh every 30 seconds.
Select SMS as your verification method in the dialog, click Send Code, and enter the 5-digit code from the SMS message. The code auto-submits once all digits are entered. You can resend the SMS code after a 60-second cooldown.
Select Email as your verification method, check your email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for a verification code from OnlyFans, and enter the 6-digit code in the Substy dialog.
Select Face Verification in the dialog (or it will be pre-selected if it's the only option). Click Start Face Verification — Substy will generate a secure verification link. Copy the link to send it to the account owner. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the face scan. Once verified, Substy automatically detects the completion.
During onboarding, you can skip 2FA verification and complete it later. Your creator account will be saved but marked as requiring verification. You can complete 2FA at any time from Settings > Creator Management. We strongly recommend completing 2FA as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted AI chatting and automation features.
SMS code not received: Wait 60 seconds and click Resend Code. Ensure your phone has network reception. If the number is outdated, update it in your OnlyFans account settings first.
Authenticator app code not working: Ensure the time on your phone is synced correctly. Wait for the code to refresh and try the new code.
Face verification failing: Use good, even lighting. Remove sunglasses, hats, or anything obscuring your face. Hold your device at eye level. Try a different device or browser if the verification page doesn't load.
Forced face verification: If OnlyFans requires forced face verification, no other 2FA methods will be available. You must complete the face scan to proceed.
