Every employee in your agency can configure their own notification settings independently. Personal preferences let you choose which channels you want to receive alerts on and which events matter to you — without affecting anyone else on the team.
1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications.
2. Click the Personal tab.
This tab is available to all employees regardless of role.
1. Click Connect Telegram.
2. You'll be redirected to Telegram to authorize the Substy bot.
3. Once connected, your Telegram chat ID is saved and you'll receive DMs directly from the bot.
This is separate from agency Telegram groups — personal DMs go only to you.
1. Create a webhook in your personal Discord server or a private channel.
2. Paste the webhook URL in the Discord Webhook field.
This lets you receive notifications in a private Discord channel separate from the agency-wide one.
Toggle on Email notifications to receive alerts at the email address associated with your Substy account. Email is primarily used for critical events like low balance warnings.
Browser push notifications work even when Substy isn't in focus. To enable:
1. Click Enable Push Notifications.
2. Your browser will ask for permission — click Allow.
3. You'll now receive desktop or mobile push alerts.
Push notifications also work with the Substy PWA app.
Toggle which events you want to be notified about:
New Subscriber — A fan subscribes to a creator you manage.
New Message — A fan sends a message.
Purchase — A fan buys a PPV or tips.
Handover — The AI hands a conversation to you.
Script Exhausted — Scripts run out for a fan.
Low Balance — Wallet is running low (admins only).
These preferences apply across all creators you manage by default.
Want different notification settings for different creators? You can override your personal preferences on a per-creator basis:
1. In your Personal notification settings, find the Creator Overrides section.
2. Select a creator.
3. Toggle specific events on or off just for that creator.
For example, you might want purchase notifications for all creators but disable message notifications for a high-volume creator to avoid noise.
Your personal preferences can only work within what the agency allows:
If the agency disables Telegram as a channel, you won't receive Telegram notifications even if you enable it personally.
If the agency disables the Purchase event, you won't get purchase alerts regardless of your personal settings.
Think of agency settings as the ceiling — your personal settings let you customize within that ceiling.
Connect Telegram for the fastest mobile alerts — you'll get DMs within seconds of an event.
Use per-creator overrides to reduce notification noise from high-volume creators.
Enable push notifications if you work in the Substy PWA app on your phone.
Keep Handover and Script Exhausted notifications enabled so you never miss when the AI needs your help.
