Use Timed delay to schedule a message after a delay of 1–60 minutes. Timed Messages require Pro or Elite and a supported creator platform.
When Timed Messages are unavailable for the plan or creator platform, Timed delay is locked or absent.
In the composer, open Plus.
Enable Timed delay.
Choose a delay from 1 to 60 minutes.
Compose the text and, when available, add media or PPV settings.
Send the message normally.
While scheduled, the message bubble has an orange dashed treatment and a countdown. The countdown shows the scheduled state rather than guaranteeing delivery at an exact second.
While the message is still scheduled, find its trash action.
If you have cancel access, choose the trash action to cancel the message.
